New exhibition at Odsherred’s Art Museum from March 4th to May 7th
HUSET in Asnæs is celebrating it´s 50th anniversary in 2023. At Odsherreds Kunstmuseum this is marked with the special exhibition “Artist Portraits”, a journey of photographic art with Kristian Septimius Krogh’s captivating, documentary portraits.
As a young photographer in the mid-1980s, K.S.Krogh captured the members of the art community in their creative habitats, where art came to life. This exhibition offers a glimpse into the past and a peek into the artists’ workshops and studios.
The artistic and personal portraits will be displayed alongside selected works from the museum’s collection. Discover photographic portraits and works by Gerda Swane, Mette Møller Bovin, Jørgen Albrechtsen, Ellen Krause, Ole Finding, Birgit Krogh and many more prominent Odsherred artists.

Kristian Septimius Krogh is not only a talented photographer with almost four decades of experience, but also a master at working with people. He has a talent for creating a collaborative environment that makes people feel safe and at ease, allowing their true essence to shine through in their portraits.
Kristian formed his skills at Gloucestershire College of Arts & Technology in England, where he graduated with credit in 1984, his primary focus has always been on photography as an artistic and communicative platform.
With a strong background in professional photography, Kristian has worked in top studios in London and Copenhagen, and in 1987, he established his own studio. Since then, he has provided exceptional photography services to national and international publishers, creating features for home and interior magazines as well as illustrations for several books books.
Kristian’s approach to photography has been praised by his clients who have commented on the positive experience of working with or being photographed by him. His portfolio showcases a talent in capturing the essence, it being portraits, contemporary living, food, art and even industry. He has worked on numerous photographic assignments inland and abroad for well-known publishing houses and companies such as IKEA, Movia, Gyldendal, Aller, Egmont, Bonnier, Nordisk Film, Bedre Bad Danmark, Red Lion Inn USA, Liebherr, Pentia, Restaurant Era Ora, Special Umbria, CabInn, Grønlandsfly, Spar Nord Bank and many others.
